November 2016, 17:38 Uhr, vier Tage nach Cohens Tod seinen „Nachruf“ über Leonard Cohen und das Judentum ein.

„Cohen (hebräisch כֹּהֵן) ist ein verbreiteter jüdischer Familienname, der in verschiedenen Varianten bzw. Schreibweisen existiert“, so die deutsche WIKIPEDIA und erläutert weiter, das es „der biblische Name von Angehörigen einer Gruppierung mit priesterlichen Funktionen im Judentum (Kohanim)“ ist. Diese „werden als männliche Nachkommen Aarons und Zadoks angesehen.“
